I designed a simplified version of a clamp base, which can be used in conjunction with a separate clamp for secure fixation. To avoid potential problems with printed threading and save hours of printing time, I decided to cut off the clamp section and add an extension that allows for use with actual hardware clamps. The print time comes out to around 3-3.5 hours. I currently utilize a 4-inch Bessey bar clamp (refer to the attached photo), but you may need to make some adjustments to accommodate other clamps. Here are the clamp pad dimensions: Width: 16.5mm Depth: 19mm The model was printed without supports, with the extension directed upwards.
