Hot Water Inhaler

Hot Water Inhaler

I'm currently at home dealing with something that feels like the flu. When I have a cold, I used to make some hot water inhalation, so it seemed like a good idea to do it again this time around. The inhaler can be placed on a small pan or a large tin can that will serve as a hot water container. It's worth noting that there are two versions available: one is smaller and uses 180 ml of water, while the other is larger and uses 110 ml. A child-friendly version is also provided, but please exercise caution with this option. The source files for freeCAD are included so you can modify them if needed. A doctor in France advises the following protocol: * Fill a container with half a liter of boiling water. * Place the inhaler on top and wait for 1 minute and 30 seconds. * Put your face close to the inhaler, inhaling slowly through your nose, then exhale quickly outside. Repeat this process. * Do the same thing but inhale through your mouth instead of your nose. Continue this cycle for around six minutes and 30 seconds. You can regulate the amount you inhale by using your finger to cover or uncover the hole in the inhaler. It's not guaranteed to be efficient, but it's similar to what my grandfather used to do when he had a cold. **Warning:** * Be careful not to burn yourself. Wait until the water has cooled down if it's too hot. * Don't use this device with children. Use common sense and don't be reckless. * If you're really sick, seek medical attention instead of relying on homemade remedies. If you do decide to use essential oils in your inhaler, make sure you know what you're doing. Essential oils can be hazardous if misused, which is why I personally choose not to use them.
