UPDATE 31/08/16 Added spanner top and bottom halves, making it easier to print, also you could have two separate colors. Print both halves of the spanner then use acetone to glue them together for ABS or super glue for other materials. UPDATE 29/08/16 Added build photos. This thing was created from the desire to have LED lighting in our hot-tub. I required 12 led lights for my tub, and after searching around the cheapest I could find were over 300 GBP. OUCH! This is why I decided to print my own for the grand total of just over 20 GBP for 12 of them: It's a very simple and easily printed one-part LED lamp holder plus retaining nut. I have also included a custom spanner for ease of assembly. You will need eBay item number:351223052816, eBay item number:262125837198, and eBay item number:251419433429. I used a 3.0 mm EPDM washer between the led body and the hot tub inner wall to create the watertight seal. You will need to use clear or transparent filament. Or you can use colored filament if you would like to use the light purely for an indicator for a control panel, etc. My early prints have turned out great; final printing of the clear ABS is now underway. I shall have some build photos uploaded shortly, including the full assembly with led present. A small amount of sanding/reworling may be required depending on your printer setup.
