Hot shoe-mounted viewfinder visor

If you wear glasses or sunglasses while shooting photos outside with a DSLR camera, you've probably felt frustrated by the way sunlight blinds you when looking through the viewfinder. No viewfinder-mounted visor can solve this problem because your glasses prevent your eye from touching the visor. However, this hot shoe-mounted viewfinder visor is here to help! It's simple yet effective - just print, insert into the hot shoe upside down, and go out shooting in the sun! I designed and tested it for my Canon 5D and 6D cameras, and I believe the same principle will work for all DSLRs with hot shoes. If it doesn't work for your camera, please leave a comment about what changes are needed, and I can upload a working version for you. Additionally, if you can measure the hot shoe size of non-Canon cameras, it should be easy to modify the design. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm for a smoother appearance; otherwise, it doesn't matter Infill: 100% for best light blockage Notes: This design is intended for right-eyed photographers. If you're left-eyed, mirror the model before printing. To ensure a tight and secure fit, this visor is an exact fit. The printed corner and bottom layer may extrude slightly, which can prevent it from fitting into the hot shoe initially. In this case, filing the edges slightly will do the trick.
