This revised hot shoe adapter, designed for lightweight lighting with a 5/8" stud, features added threads and a lockdown nut to securely attach to your camera. For load-bearing use, print as a solid ABS object; attach lights via a set screw. To modify the design, download Thread_Library.scad from thingiverse.com and shapes.scad. Print with 100% infill for strength, and be prepared to adjust tolerances on threads for proper lockdown.
