Hot Rod Radio Flyer

On 11/16/17, I completed my first 3D model, which is nearly perfect; I crafted it using Mastercam for the solids. Earlier, I designed and built a wagon as a gift for my daughter. This project marked my initial experience of fully designing and modeling everything on a computer prior to cutting materials. My primary objective was to calculate frame miters and steering geometry accurately beforehand to avoid rework. The elevation (Z height) is set to zero. I cut the wooden rails from .75" high-grade pine, followed by radiusing them using a hand router. Additionally, I crafted the 5/8 aluminum steering fork manually to demonstrate my skills. Stay tuned for my upcoming 3D version of this project!
