Hot Glue Gun Cable Clip

Hot Glue Gun Cable Clip

prusaprinters

I was trying to use the hot glue gun to mount my ethernet cable to the wall, but it just wouldn't hold the cable.  So I decided to try and improve the adhesion with a clip that can be stuck to the wall and then I just clip the cable in place.  The other benefit is that you can install and remove the cable anytime. They are also quite low profile and take very little filament to print and print rather quickly as well.  It does take a bit of time if you start filling the print bed, but then again, you will have an impressive number of clips in one print.I include a few gcodes, but please keep in mind that I have tried to fine tune them for the cheap filament that I am currently using from the time when it was very difficult to get any shipments.  You probably want to re-slice it with your preferred filament profile. For this one I have tried using parametric design for quick resizing.  I have also included the step file for remixing if you want.I also add two pictures of my first test to see how it works.  So far it seems to work as planned.
