Hot End Wire Loom Guide
thingiverse
Here is a hot end wire management system designed to prevent wires from dragging across the bed plate during printing operations. This guide provides a solution for keeping wires in place without interrupting the print job, allowing users to maintain productivity while minimizing downtime. To create this wire loom, I researched existing solutions and found none that met my requirements, so I took it upon myself to design one. The result is a compact wire management system that can be easily installed on most hot end configurations. Using Cura 3.6, I generated the STL file for the wire loom with supports, which took approximately 35 minutes to print and only 5 minutes to clean and file. Once printed, the wire loom was attached to the stepper motor's plastic cover using hot glue or double-sided tape on my Geeetech A10M printer. The results are impressive, as the extruder wire loom no longer catches or snags during printing operations. To improve this design further, I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions from users who have tried it out.
