Hot End Set Screw Brace

When I snug down the set screw that secures the hot end, it glides smoothly along the tubular section of the part. This stabilizing bracket (the bright red component in the photo) keeps the screw perfectly aligned with the hot end, allowing for a tight fit. The screw hole is precision-machined to ensure a snug fit, so you'll want to run a 3mm screw through it before installing the hot end assembly. The bracket should remain clear of the hot end at all times. It functions flawlessly but adds an extra step to removing the hot end. Only time will tell if the PLA stabilizing bracket will withstand heat stress during prolonged printing sessions.
