Hot End Pen Holder

Hot End Pen Holder

thingiverse

Here is my design of a Prusa Hot End Pen Holder! There's no need for supports when printing this design, and you won't require the MMU for colored prints – color changes are purely based on layers. Don't worry; your pens will stay safe from melting! **Assembly Guide:** 1. Print both .amf files with at least 3-4 perimeters for the nozzle. You can use your slicer to set up layer-based filament changes, just like my version. 2. Click all 16 lamellas into the heat sink body – you shouldn't need glue. 3. Hold the nozzle in one hand and twist the hot end in place. Be careful not to twist the stand, as it's the weakest link where the nozzle touches the ground plate. 4. Don't overtighten; leave a gap between the nozzle and the heater block just like you do on your printer. 5. Enjoy your pen holder! Prusa owners can find ready-to-print gcode files at PrusaPrinters – print ID 23294 Hot End Pen Holder. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If you like this file or need some adjustments, feel free to leave a comment.
