Hot End LED Light
thingiverse
This is my first contribution, so please forgive me if I've missed anything:). I created this LED holder for the print head inspired by the LED Ring Holder because that one doesn't fit with the two-sided fan duct I'm using on my printer as well. It doesn't provide light all around the hot end, but at least it shines a light to the front and right-hand side of the print head. I designed it thin so I could reuse the original screws for the cold end fan that still fit perfectly. I've replaced the original "turbine" noisy fan with the Noctua - what a relief! And the original screws still fit great. For light, I cut two 5cm strips from a waterproof light strip that just happened to be on hand. The light strip is 8mm wide and fits exactly into the groove on this part. I printed it upright without any support.
