Hot-end heatsink fan duct with stator for 60mm fan
thingiverse
I need to redesign my heatsink cooling fan duct as the one I had on was a bit bulky. Then I saw that adding a stator is supposed to improve airflow a bit. I angled the fan mount 30° from vertical and instead of clipping the duct onto the heatsink I decided to make a clamp type mount. The self tapping screws I use are 3mm x 9mm long. I can say that the flow through the heatsink is better and blow-back from the fan is less using the stator.
