I have used this fix on my printer and it works well. The original idea was to install a small piece of PTFE tubing into the hotend, ensuring a perfect fit at the nozzle. This makes tube changes easier since the bowden tube only goes as far as the top of the cold end. One potential issue is that the washer used by CHEP to hold the internal tube in place is too large, preventing the tube fitting from being screwed on all the way. I don't have this problem because I use a different washer, but many people were influenced by CHEP's design and now use his washer. This new washer addresses that issue by being conical in shape, allowing it to fit better at the top of the hotend. It also lowers down so you can tighten up the fitting properly. The other parts included are jigs to help cut the internal tube correctly.
