Hot end fan duct + model circular blower (40mm and 50mm fan versions)

This innovative duct design was influenced by an original creation I could no longer locate. Frustrated by its dimensions, I decided to develop my own model. The resulting design produced two variations - one suited for 40mm fans and another for 50mm models. The 50mm version offered improved airflow and a quieter performance. This duct is specifically engineered to pair with the E3D v5 extruder but could likely function seamlessly with other models as well, featuring mounting holes spaced 50mm apart. The 50mm duct functioned flawlessly until I implemented changes to my extruder's design. The issue stemmed from a single fan being used to cool both the hotend radiator and the printed cooling component simultaneously. This arrangement proves effective when working with PLA or PET, but causes inconvenience when printing ABS. Since the hotend requires continuous cooling while the model needs to be kept uncooled during ABS printing, mounting or dismounting the duct as per material is inevitable. Nevertheless, for PLA users, this remains a convenient solution. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Notes: The recommended print settings are as follows: use a 0.3mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height and 100% infill to ensure quality prints without additional supports. Since models come equipped with inherent supports, feel free to break them off post-printing. Post-Printing: Break any supports you notice upon finishing the print and carefully assemble two parts together by gluing them with a reliable adhesive such as acetone. Installation of your new fan can be finalized once you have glued both pieces securely. Attach the fan in place using M3 screws and corresponding nuts to ensure proper, secure placement.
