Hot End Chain Mount for Linear Rail

Hot End Chain Mount for Linear Rail

This is the piece that connects the cable chain, designed by Def_ult, to the hot end when using a linear rail system for X axis, specifically the MGN12H carriage. I loved the original design, but it had a piece that clipped to the original rolling groove wheel system, which I couldn't use...so I created this using Tinkercad. This is my first design remix, so I hope it works for you. NOTE: It is attached using only 2 of the 4 screws holding the hot end to the carriage, the other 2 screws should fit into the 2 bigger holes. I wanted to leave the other 2 screws directly connected for more stable mounting of the hot end bracket. UPDATE: I've had to make several updates to get everything where it needs to be. I've attached all files (except original). Process; - The first design was functional (I thought), but flimsy. (V0) - Then I gave it more stability, but then noticed it was too low compared to the opposite side of the chain, and the support was on the wrong side, so it blocked the cable path. (V1) - So I raised it up, switched the support over, but eventually noticed it was too high. (V2) - Good height, stable...done, right....no; couldn't auto level my bed (Cr Touch) because the connection to the chain sticks out and hits the right Z Axis gantry (V3) - So I moved it to the middle of the mount and, bam...doesn't hit the right gantry; but it hits the left, so I can't even Home...ugh (V4) - I pulled the connector back over the base, left it in the middle (since it clears the right), it clears the left, but I did have to put one more link in the chain. Finally a Fully functioning piece, I hope you enjoy.
