The Hot Air Gun 8018LCD is a great and affordable option, but it lacks temperature stabilization. To solve this problem, I added a solution based on the Atmega8 microcontroller: http://radiokot.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=8505&hilit=ne555&start=8880. Since standard buttons were not available, I created custom ones. However, the cable holder broke during assembly and disassembly of the construction. To fix this issue, I had to print a new one. The cap was also printed separately. The Hot Air Gun 8018LCD is powered by a Hakko T12 AT power supply: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1661703. An updated version of the setup can be seen in this image: http://s2.micp.ru/ulU4t.jpg (left button - iron, right hot air gun). In Russian: The Hot Air Gun 8018LCD is a great and affordable option, but it lacks temperature stabilization. To solve this problem, I added a solution based on the Atmega8 microcontroller: http://radiokot.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=8505&hilit=ne555&start=8880. I couldn't find standard buttons like those shown in forum images, so I used regular ones: http://s1.micp.ru/pq394.jpg. To accommodate them, I had to extend the button leads. The cable holder broke during multiple assembly and disassembly processes. I decided to print a new one (it's better to print it on its side). The missing regulator cap was also printed. To assemble the buttons, drill holes for them, measure the distance between the centers of the holes, and correct W and H in the file or cut the ties connecting the buttons. The Hot Air Gun 8018LCD is powered by a 19V and 220V power supply (voltage is provided through a four-wire cable). My AT power block for Hakko T12 24V already had this feature implemented: between -12 and +12 voltages with diode replacement on the -12V line. The 19V was obtained using a Chinese voltage stabilizer.
