The initial component of a system to direct warm air from a hairdryer onto my unheated build platform is taking shape. The next pieces will be the control arm that enables movement of this part and the flexihose out of the way of the printhead. Regulation for all this is being handled by an Arduino NANO v3, which controls the servo to move the head, switches the hairdryer on and off through a mains relay, and monitors three temperature sensors. The next step - a relatively straightforward one - involves writing a small program in the Arduino to drive and monitor everything.
