I needed to snake a new hose on a boat. The hose went went through 2 holes both off which I could only reach the outer surface. I attached the pull cord to the old hose and pulled it through the holes as I took the old hose out. Then I used thie puller to pull the new hose in. It is a tight press fit so no clamp was needed.
