hose connector to rainwater barrel

This is a connector for my rainwater barrel outlet, allowing me to connect a hose using a standard Gardena adapter. A 2.62 mm O-ring is required to complete the connection. Alternatively, I can use a 3/4'' to 1 '' Adapter, which also works seamlessly. Here are the main parameters: I'm eager to test and receive any comments. Unfortunately, I don't know the name or standard used on my barrel. Comment for version 3: Although the threads now fit and work correctly, I'm not satisfied with the fit to the barrel itself. It appears that more distance is needed between the hex-nut disk and the barrel.
