** NOT DESIGNED, APPROVED, OR ENDORSED BY THE MANUFACTURER, FAA, OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER *** 'Improved' hose attachment for Electronics International Manifold Pressure gauge. The original hose-attachment point is small (1/8 od by ~1/4" long plastic nipple) & subject to breakage - which requires sending the gauge in for service. This piece attaches to the back of the pressure transducer on the back of the instrument using the existing screws, and provides a nipple for 1/4" ID tubing. 1) Remove the screws holding the pressure transducer to the back of the instrument. Do not remove pressure transducer. 2) Use proseal or RTV to seal against the surface of the pressure transducer 3) Screw adapter and pressure transducer back in place. Longer screws than 'stock' will be required -you can get those from Home Depot or your local hardware store. 4) Attach hose, secure to back of adapter with safety wire. Legal disclaimer: For use with *Experimental Amateur-Built Aircraft Only* (US FAA regs - other countries may be different) - if your aircraft is certified (Piper, Cessna, etc) or your country's laws require it, do not use this part. Above all, I am not responsible for what you do with it.
