The design for this remix was heavily influenced by the original Horus Kestrel, which can be found on horus-drones.com and grabcad.com. I had already printed, assembled, and flown the original model from grabcad.com and it provided a fun experience, but during flight I noticed significant play in the rear part of the airframe when performing yaw movements. This is typical for printed vtail frames, so I set out to make some adjustments to mitigate this issue, even though it's not nearly as effective as using a rigid CF frame. The parts that differ from the original design are: Tail Plate Main Body Base Plate Top Plate Changes made to the tail plate include widening the area near the vblock section and adding an M3 tie-in to the main body. The main body has been extended at the rear to support the tie-in to the tail plate, and also includes M3 tie-ins to the top plate near both the front and rear of the airframe. The top plate no longer features a rear notch; instead it offers additional support for the tie-in to the main body and provides more zip tie slots to mount equipment on either the top or bottom. The base plate has been updated by removing the word HORUS, which was causing issues with my printer. My current setup consists of: Flip 32 AIO DYS 20A ESC's Quanum (DYS) 2206 2000KV Motors FrSKY X8R Quanum Q58 VTX Turnigy IC-120CS CCD Camera Mobius Action Cam 2200mah LIPo Print Settings: Printer: C-Bot Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.175 Infill: 50% Notes: Printed in PETG 3 Perimeters 4 Solid Bottom and Top 50% Infill
