The iconic figure of Horus, ancient Egyptian god of pharaohs, and hero of the legendary tale of Isis & Osiris, is reborn as a masterpiece. His father, Osiris, god of judgment, and his mother, Isis, goddess of motherhood, bequeathed to him the sacred legacy of vengeance. He exacted retribution against the treacherous Seth, who assassinated his father, cementing his reputation as a just avenger. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail using ZBrush 4RZ 46 bit, this majestic figure is a testament to skillful 3D artistry. Originally designed for a graphic and 3D course, the project has evolved into a breathtaking representation of ancient Egypt's splendor. This striking model would thrive in a museum or as a striking element in 3D printing projects. Conceived during a stint at home learning graphics and 3D skills, the original intention was to create figures for a grand 3D library in Autodesk 3ds Max, nestled within an abandoned building called The Italian House. The structure's history dates back to World War II, when Italian officials temporarily resided there, leading to its enduring nickname. Long left vacant and nearly forgotten, this edifice whispered tales of bygone eras, awaiting a new life. Within its walls once lay a vibrant library and theater. As my team revived the property's grandeur, they sought figures that would pay homage to the rich cultural heritage. I was commissioned to create an eagle-like figure with Egyptian regalia, which could either be Horus or Ra, god of sunlight. Although it didn't see the light in their project, this design's beauty shines brightly, awaiting discerning patrons who value Egypt's majestic legends and historical splendor, as well as international visitors captivated by the pharaohs' mysteries and timeless myths.
