Horten Ho 229 1/48 1/72 scale model

This is a new version of my Horten model, decided to create a different page for it to avoid confusion The Horten H.IX, RLM designation Ho 229 (or Gotha Go 229 for extensive re-design work done by Gotha to prepare the aircraft for mass production) was a German prototype fighter/bomber initially designed by Reimar and Walter Horten to be built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik late in World War II. It was the first flying wing to be powered by jet engines. The model was created from scratch in Blender3D the model is divided into 47 parts, 14 of which can be easily printed with a FDM printer, the rest being small details that require a LCD resin printer. The model includes, moveable wing flaps, a full cabin, with control panel and seat, windshields to be printed in transparent resin, landing gear and hatches. The model is meant to be printed in 1/48 scale or larger if its going to be printed in parts, if youre planning a full resin model, then anything below 1/48 should be perfectly fine, take caution with the very fine details present in the cabin and landing gear, that require extra care when cleaning. (The seat frame might be way too delicate for most people, and you can probably ignore the part and the model will still look good) There is also a single part version for resin printers. Model measurements when fully printed by scale: 1/48 scale: 350mm x 151mm x 62mm 1/72 scale: 230mm x 100mm x 41mm 1/100 scale: 166mm x 72mm x 30mm Ill update with some printed pictures and some better looking renders soon. Have Fun!
