Shortly after I designed my Starfleet Meeples, I knew they needed some strange new life to investigate! Enter the Horta, a fascinating creature from the original Star Trek episode "Devil in the Dark". I printed the eggs and Horta herself with rafts and no supports using an Ender 3. Hatchbox true silver filament on the eggs shone brightly, while some generic brown PLA from a sample kit brought the Horta to life. More Trek meeples are on their way!
