This is the stunning Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, captured with incredible precision using photogrammetry scan technology from Google Earth. The result is an accurate replica of this breathtaking landmark, meticulously recreated to showcase every intricate detail. Unlike traditional height map models, which often falter when depicting near-vertical cliffs due to their one-dimensional nature, a full-scale scan can resolve these lost details, revealing the true majesty of the terrain. I opted to print my model at 30% scale, as I'm currently running low on filament. However, I have no doubt that many of you will push the boundaries by printing it at 100% or higher. The versatility of this design allows for multiple print configurations: print it flat to create a striking topographical map effect, or on its largest edge to showcase smoother details.
