The iron alloy horseshoe was unearthed from a domestic site in western Fairfax County, Virginia, and its origins date back to the 18th century. It underwent thorough scanning with a Go!Scan 50 scanner within the archaeology laboratory of the Archaeology and Collections Branch of the Fairfax County Park Authority on February 16, 2018. This artifact is courtesy of the Archaeology and Collections Branch of the Fairfax County Park Authority.
