"Horse, Prototype" is a test fixture designed for an upcoming project I'm working on. I created this as a test to assess the leg, head, and tail movements of a horse in motion. The model is compact enough to print on most standard 3D printers but requires precision during printing, filing, and assembly due to its small size. To ensure accurate results, the design incorporates 4mm threads, necessitating the use of a 4mm by .7 tap and die for cleaning up threaded parts. As a note, the motor used in this prototype is relatively inexpensive but produces a significant amount of noise at 6vdc. It's essential to keep in mind that this model isn't suitable for quiet environments. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask as I often forget crucial files or make mistakes during my design process. This model was created using Autodesk Fusion 360 and sliced with Cura 3.2.1 before being printed in PLA on both an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
