Horse Papercraft
thingiverse
I design this papercraft horse using SketchUp, creating a digital model that's ready for 3D printing. With the STL file generated by the software, I produce one model with my Form 2 printer, achieving precise details and smooth surfaces. Using Pepakura software, I obtain a flat version of the horse head from the original design, which I can then use to create a paper plane version of the horse's face. To bring this creation to life, I upload the PDF plan to my printer and print it on A3-sized 160g/m² paper. The result is an impressive 40cm-tall horse head that looks amazing when printed. If you prefer a smaller model, you can also use A4 paper to create a more compact version of this papercraft horse. Assembling the head requires some patience and time – about 10 hours from printing to cutting and gluing all the pieces together – but the end result is well worth the effort.
