A cast of a horse of Selene from the pediments of the Parthenon, at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The Parthenon was produced from 438-432 BCE by the sculptor Phidias, and the architects Iktinos and Kallikrates, at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. The originals now sit in the British Museum, London.
