A horse lampshade that I made for our daughter.

The surround prints flat on a Mk3 bed with no skirt as it's 250mm wide. A colour change allows you to print clear (or transparent colour) then the other colour (or black etc as the mask). You could make your own surround plate, which is 250mm wide x 120mm tall, 0.8mm thick.

It needs glue to hold it securely together, so don't glue your fingers together like I did. If you do, acetone eventually gets the glue tube off your finger.

The horse silhouettes are by Nouri Atchabao, from here: https://www.vecteezy.com/vector-art/99762-free-horses-silhouette-vector. They didn't work perfectly as SVGs in Fusion 360 so I had to auto-trace the jpegs in Illustrator.

The inside hole is 28.2mm in diameter, which should suit standard bulb holders - I used an old Ikea lamp.

The spacer is there to just raise it up on the lamp holder, and the reflector is a white piece that's optional, dropping into the bottom of the base.

I'd only recommend using an LED bulb to ensure it doesn't get too hot.

Hope this inspires some ideas – please do let me know as I'm just starting with my printer and learning Fusion.

Cheers,

John
