Horned Staff of Magical Mushrooms

As he wandered through the forest in search of mushrooms, Djiboslav heard sobbing nearby. Believing a lady might be in distress, he ran to the sound and was shocked when he found god Veles sitting under an oak tree, weeping bitterly. When Djiboslav asked what terrible trouble had caused him to sit and cry, Veles revealed that Kajagej was at fault for everything. People mistakenly identified her with him just because they both had horns, and all her atrocities were blamed on him, which led to his loss of trust and reputation among men and gods alike. Djiboslav sat down beside Veles, bit off a piece of magic root he had just plucked, gave the other half to Veles, and reassured him that there was no reason to worry because King Bleso was determined to defeat Kajagej. With newfound hope in his eyes, fueled by the words of Djiboslav and the magic root, Veles took up his horned staff and handed it to the wizard to aid them in their noble struggle. After that, Veles retreated into a blessed dream, while Djiboslav returned to show Bleso his new weapon.
