Hornady Shell Plate Spanner
thingiverse
I've designed a custom-made spanner for use with the Lock and Load AP Press. The tool has been thoroughly tested in various shell plates, including those for 9mm (#8), 45APC (#45), 5.7x28 (#37), and 223 (#16) calibers. It's highly recommended to print the initial design without any offset first. A deliberate 1mm offset was added for users whose printers tend to produce oversized parts, as this spanner fits snugly on my Ender 5 with default settings: 0.15 layer thickness and 80% infill with hexagonal triangles in PLA material. This particular design differs from others found here, which failed to fit my #8 or #45 shell plates. However, this one has proven to be a perfect fit. The model was created entirely from scratch using Sketchup software.
