Hornady LNL Classic Primer Catcher

With the Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic single stage press and provided primer catcher, spent primers frequently bounced onto the floor while de-capping cases. Using this primer catcher and primer stopper, I have successfully decapped over 1,000 cases (small and large primers) with every single primer dropping right into the trash can. The drop tube on the primer catcher is designed to work in conjunction with a 1/2" inner diameter tube, yet I've found no need for one as long as a trash can is placed beneath it. The support braces on the primer catcher secure around the rear beam of the press. To utilize the primer stopper effectively, slide it down into the ram prior to installing your shell holder - you cannot insert it from the side like the stock primer arm. I have also included an image of the original Hornady primer arm for reference. However, 3D printed replicas of the original primer arm lack the slickness and weight needed to function as efficiently as the metal original.
