People: Go ahead and try putting a load on some earphones for kicks. It's true that they sound way louder with the added weight, but unfortunately, the low-end frequencies get cut off so high that the overall sound quality turns out to be tinny and unpleasant. Give it a shot, show yourself that horn loading headphones is essentially a pointless exercise - though it does have its educational value.
