Horn Boom Box for 70 euro
thingiverse
A fantastic boom-box for 70 euro works like a charm and carefully designed. The nautilus shell was my inspiration which was very hard to draw in 3D. You need: A cheap car radio 30 euro, a set of 6.5 inch JBL speakers and a 12 volt power supply. (see picture) A glue gun to fix the horns to the case and some wire to connect it all. Glue it upside down on a flat table and use a nut and a bolt to fix them, remove later to use it as speaker wire pass! Power supply is yellow and red to the plus and black negative. Green and grey to the speakers the thin black lined are the plus. Be aware one horn is 26 cm so you need a large printer! It takes a long time to print PLA, 1 day for one horn! Sketchup file included if you printer cannot print this size you can add-just it so the horn fit a smaller speaker. Go for the 2-Way Coaxial Car Speaker 60 watt is all you need. Super sound and great looks! success
