Update 7/10/20 - Finally Added Holder for Coex Brand. After building the direct drive mount for my Ender 5 Plus, I realized that I needed somewhere to store my spools. I didn't want to install a bar in the wall above the printer, so I designed a horizontal spool holder that could sit off to the side on a table or shelf. Not all spools are created equal, and this became painfully clear as I went through multiple trials to create a truly universal holder. This design is my best solution yet. You can print one adapter for every spool you own, or continue to swap it around to match whatever brand is currently on the holder. Materials Needed: - 3 qty - 2" or 50mm washers, approximately 3mm or 1/8" thick (take the base to your local hardware store and choose washers that just fit over the lip where they sit) - Anti-slip material used in kitchen drawers or on shelves / pantries - Love Instructions: 1. Print the base in any color you prefer. It will only be visible when there's no spool on it. 2. Place the washers on top of each other in an order that minimizes friction. 3. Print the adapter needed for your brand. Additional adapters will be added as I obtain more brands. 4. Give someone a hug. Yourself is perfectly acceptable; we all need a little love right now.
