I designed a straightforward horizontal smartphone stand specifically to hold my iPhone 7 with an Otterbox Defender, but it should work perfectly fine for any other smartphone as well. To print this design from the base up, I rotated the part accordingly. Using my Ultimaker 2 enhanced + 3D printer, I printed it with Ultimaker PLA filament and a .6 nozzle size.
