Horizontal Gear Meade DS-2114 AT-TC

I've designed this replacement gear for the Meade DS-2114 AT-TC telescope to compensate for a broken horizontal movement mechanism. Since only the locking black component failed but the thin thread was still intact, I decided to create an entire replacement assembly that includes the gear and all its associated parts. Using FreeCAD, I designed the part from scratch and have made it available here in case anyone needs to adapt it to their own telescope model. The gear itself was modified using OpenSCAD, building upon a design found on Thingiverse (1516585) and requiring some adjustments to fit my specific requirements. To ensure proper support during printing, I used Autodesk Meshmixer to create custom supports for the gear assembly. The resulting STL file with built-in supports is also available here for anyone who may need it. After printing the replacement gear using PLA with a 40% infill rate, I found that it turned out incredibly sturdy and durable.
