This adapter offers an alternative to replacing the brushed motor in the Horizon Hobby's Super Cub with a brushless option. It arrives as a one-piece unit requiring no assembly. Printing is feasible without supports, although some bridging is necessary towards the top of the print. The .125" thickness provides sufficient strength even if stringiness occurs at lower bridging layers. The new adapter has proven itself capable of providing over 2 hours of flying time without any issues or problems. Originally, the plane was slightly nose-heavy, but the brushless motor helps offset the center of gravity more aftwards. This may not be true for every Horizon Hobby Super Cub, so it's worth checking the CG before taking to the skies anyway.
