Horisontal spool holder for Anet A8
thingiverse
This holder needs more components:\r\n- 5 ball bearings of size 608 are required.\r\n- Four M4x10mm screws or something similar can be used, but they're not necessary if the top bearing holder fits tightly.\r\n- Four M8 nuts must be included.\r\n- A central threaded rod with a length of 150 mm and a diameter of M8 is also needed (taken from original printer parts).\r\n\r\nAfter some time in use, I noticed that the spool was rotating too freely, causing loops of plastic to fall out. To fix this issue, I inserted a piece of sponge into the guide part and moved it closer to the spool. For now, it's working well enough.\r\n\r\nThe design for this holder can be found on Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/brXe4XnCCMb-spool-holder-for-anet-a8
