Human: Replacement for Hori Racing Wheel Apex Internal Shifter Mechanics. The pedal shifter on the racing wheel doesn't directly press onto a switch. Instead, there's another crucial part in between that flexes every time the shifter is pulled - and this flexibility was actually intentional in the original design. However, this constant bending causes the part to break down after some time. This replacement part is designed to fix that issue once and for all. To prevent breaking due to flexing, it features a hinge, which is printed in place style. Therefore, you'll need a well-tuned printer to get the best results. The characteristics of the shifter change slightly with this new part. First, less force is required on the paddle, making it easier to shift gears. Second, the point at which the shifter triggers shifts later, meaning you need to pull the pedal a bit further in to activate it. As of now, the replacement parts have lasted just as long as the original part did - no more, no less. The second part needs to be printed mirrored and mounted on the other side for optimal performance.
