Horace is a Horse that was only raised in the finest stables, he has always been smart and of course talking is simple if a horse cares enough to whinnie it out. He is wildly offended pretty much constantly when people assume that Hugh Mann, his pet ape, is in fact the person they should be addressing is the horse Horace, NOT the ape rider Hugh Mann.
