Hopper car body, for Marklin hobby range car chassis
thingiverse
Here's a body for your H0 scale model railroad car that's compatible with Marklin/Trix hobby car chassis and also my previously designed printable chassis. This imaginary car is based on the 4-axle grain hoppers available as models. Since it's not commercially available for this type of chassis, I created this shape. Two versions are included: * One version has a snap joint to mount on an original Marklin system chassis. This one is more difficult to print. * The other version has a flat bottom and can be mounted using screws or glued in place. It's easier to print and matches the chassis I designed. Use 2mmx5 self-tapping screws with large collars (recommended) or M2x5mm size screws for mounting. Five cavities are provided to hold M6 size nuts, allowing you to add additional weight as needed. This picture shows it with my chassis. Check out my other things to get the complete look! Only the grey colored part is included in this model. I added an assembled 3D model for use in thingyviewer, but it's not intended for printing.
