Hope'N Door - Hands Free Door Opener #NoTouchChallenge
thingiverse
This is a collaborative project founded on a chain of solidarity. A device has been created to let doors open with the forearm, thereby preventing the spread of Covid-19 and bringing a "rainbow of hope" to our nursing homes. It's a hands-free door opener that avoids contact with hands when opening doors. According to information from the WHO, contact with frequently used surfaces such as door handles is one of the primary ways of infection. We must take action. The setup is very easy and just a couple of cable ties are needed to secure the device to any door handle. Additionally, its universal design makes it adaptable to different models and sizes of door handle.
