Hop Spider V2

Hop Spider V2

I wasn't entirely pleased with my hop spider from last week, so I decided to give it a makeover by adding threads that would allow the arms to screw into place on the ring. Rather than design my own threads, I opted to utilize the existing threads from a clamp I had downloaded and created some time ago. Although I haven't used my revamped hop spider in brewing yet, it appears sturdy and I'm confident it will perform flawlessly. Evidently, you create one ring and three arms. Two versions of the arms are available for download - one includes support under the threads, while the other does not. In my experience, the supports I designed work better than auto-generated supports when printing in PETG, but your results may vary.
