DIY Gimbal Mount for Hooverthings Flip 360. I wanted a compact quadcopter with a GoPro gimbal that would fit in my backpack, so I designed a custom gimbal mount for this purpose. Works seamlessly with the Light 2 Axis Brushless Gimbal, which features a BGC3.0 plug-and-play stabilizer for GoPro SJ Hawkeye and DJI RC drones. Available at Banggood.com: https://www.banggood.com/Light-2-Axis-Brushless-Gimbal-With-BGC3_0-Plug-and-Play-Stabilizer-For-GoPro-SJ-Hawkeye-DJI-Cheerson-p-1104837.html To assemble the gimbal mount, I removed the top attachment from the roll motor. The roll motor fits snugly into the printed part, which in turn attaches to the front of the Flip 360 frame (the GoPro mount must be removed first). The gimbal controller board mounts securely on the top of the Flip 360 frame. When assembling the DIY gimbal mount, ensure that the propellers do not come into contact with the gimbal or the GoPro camera. I achieved about 5mm clearance when moving the frame around on its base due to the anti-vibration mount's design.
