Hoover Linx Baffle Tube

Hoover Linx Baffle Tube

After losing the baffle tube for my stick vacuum and not wanting to spend seven dollars on a new one that might not fit due to the model being discontinued, I decided to make my own instead. I've yet to print the full object, but my first attempts printing a short part to check the mounting measurements seem to have worked out so far. Next, I'll attempt to print the full object upside-down from how I designed it, hence the small bridges in the locking groove, in order to need fewer supports. I also made a version without holes along the tube because I don't fully understand why they're there; wouldn't you want air to swirl all the way down into the bottom? Updates after fully printing and testing the part will come. UPDATE: It seems to be working fine now, with no more dust getting up into the filter, and large pieces have no problem getting into the lower chamber. It could probably stand to be a tiny bit narrower and longer at the fin end, but that's something I'll deal with later if I can't stand it anymore.
