Create Prosthetics introduces the Hookhand, an innovative 3D-printed prosthetic device designed for open-source innovation and improved functionality. The Hookhand boasts a visually appealing design, adaptability, and limitless potential for customization. It offers superior function with numerous degrees of motion, interchangeable attachments, and a built-in handle for carrying items. Easy to produce using traditional rigid plastics and flexible materials, the Hookhand requires minimal assembly and tools. Its affordability stems from entirely plastic components, making it suitable for all amputee demographics. The Hookhand's remixable design features three attachment modes and encourages community collaboration. Create Prosthetics has successfully tested the device and thanks Steve Wood of Gyrobot for inspiring elements of their submission. Note that this Submission does not contain a .IGES or .STEP file, but is exempt by special circumstance as directed by Ben Ewing, GrabCad's Community Manager.
