Hook and Scoop bed clearing device
thingiverse
This is an automated bed clearing device. It demands a custom gcode script. Specifically designed for Creality hot ends, I have provided a template for mounting bolts. First, print this quick design to ensure the mount fits your machine. I have included my base gcode for the hook and scoop maneuver. You must test it and determine the precise coordinates needed to position the loop of the ear saver so that the hook catches it without hitting the sides or going too shallow or too deep. After finding the exact spot where the strap should be, copy and paste gcode until you have as much as you need. You will require a header with settings for measurement system and heat settings, followed by your sliced code for the strap, then my code for the maneuver, and repeat this pattern of your code, my code, your code, my code, and finally the footer that shuts everything down when complete. I'm not proficient in math, but I calculated that each strap requires 1.1 meters, with approximately 330 meters on a 1Kg roll, which translates to 300 straps. To be safe, I recommend dropping a few off unless you have a filament runout sensor. At 11 minutes per strap and repeating this process 300 times, it should take about 2-1/2 days to complete 1Kg (300) straps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFu0et2Wzv4
