A compact masonry dwelling located in northwestern New Mexico, this pueblito was constructed during the late summer or early fall of 1723. Notably larger than most pueblitos in the region and distinct due to its non-defensive site location. Designated as a historic landmark on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, Hooded Fireplace Ruin earns its name from the well-preserved Spanish-style fireplace situated within the room's corner. This low-resolution preview was captured using poles, aiming to eventually integrate into a broader landscape that will be captured with drones (UAVs).
